My Approach to Therapy

In our work together, I blend somatic and parts work with the support of neuroscience, all through a feminist, anti-oppressive lens. Here's a glimpse into the models I use:
Satir Model: Enhances self-esteem and communication through experiential exercises.
Internal Family Systems (IFS): Focuses on understanding and harmonizing internal parts.
Trauma-Informed Stabilization Treatment (TIST): Helps manage dissociation and stabilize trauma responses.
Polyvagal Theory: Promotes safety and connection by understanding nervous system responses.
Observing Ego Inquiry (OEI): Facilitates trauma processing through eye movement techniques.
Let's talk
I respectfully acknowledge I live and work on the unceded traditional territory of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm, (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and səl̓ilwətaɁɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. I support the fight for land back and the harms of colonization are an explicit part of the conversation in this practice.
